YummySoup! App Reviews

Opened Yummy Soup to find one of my recipes and received this message.... "YummySoup!.app" is damaged and cant be opened. Delete "YummySoup!.app" and download it again from the App Store. ALL OF MY RECIPES ARE GONE!!! ITS HEARTBREAKING. I sent Yummy Soup an email a couple of weeks ago to ask if there was any way I could recover recipes and I still have not received a reply. So disappointed!

I wish I knew what happened to this company. I used to really like the program. Now it’s glitchy and there has been no info from the company in 2 years. They use to respond to emails within 24 hours, and now nothing from them. They promised full integration with iPad and iPhone but we’re still waiting. I am really surprised this app is still available considering that if you purchase it and have any issues will not get any resolution. I sincerely hope that someone at Hungry Seacow is listening.

I had this for several years both on my iMAC and my iPhone…attempting to sync across both resulted in lost recipes, confusion, and unable to see (on one platform or the other). I really tried giving it a chance … even attempting to email for support - though never received any responses. The developer’s Facebook page is out of date and virtuly unused. Importing was very cumbersome since (more often than not) you had to do a manual (pick each heading of the recipe) recognition. Have to say, I’ve switched to Paprika and it’s a dream. Navigating through the web, saving the recipe is almost ALWAYS a one step process. Why did I wait so long before trying something better?
