No support

I used this application for about 4 years and liked it a great deal — despite the fact that there were no updates. Many of the features stopped working as the iMac operating system evolved. I had hundreds of recipes saved; many of them were from my mother and grandmother and were irreplaceable.

Suddenly, the application stopped working. A message popped up telling me to reinstall from the Apple store. I tried that. I tried retrieving it from backup. Nothing has worked. I called Apple support. They were wonderful, even though they do not support this application, but we achieved no success.

I sent an email to the YummySoup! support person and have not received a response. It has been over a month and I have received no reply.

I have lost my precious recipes; some of which can never be replaced. I would not recommend that anyone buy this application.
